They're not the Dark Ages anymore
The Dark Ages was the name given to that period of history from the fall of Rome (ca. 476 AD) to 900 AD. Just like with the Middle Ages, they've discovered (as a number of us knew) that there were more misconceptions than truth about that period. It wasn't nearly as dark as many people were taught. With that in mind they've since renamed the Dark Ages to the Early Middle Ages. As an armchair Medieval historian I think that's great. What are your thoughts on that?
In school they called me "nerd". Today they call me "boss".
